I have been watching Band of Brothers on DVD for the past week.  In the episode “Why We Fight”, Easy Company liberates a concentration camp.  Those men, and men like them, helped change the world, and changed it for the better.  I look back at my time in the Marines, and wonder if I could have made such a difference.

The only salvation for morning is a slow start to the day.  I have stuff to do, but I don’t have to rush to get them done.  Time to strap shoes on my feet and hit the road.
